Estíbaliz started her career working at Unilever Company, FMCG, in the marketing department managing several of their main brands.
In 2008 she moved to Laureate Education as a Marketing Manager at Universidad Europea in Madrid. Estíbaliz successively held increasing positions of responsibility, eventually being appointed as Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Spain and Portugal in 2014.
In January 2016, she assumed the position of Chief Executive Officer for Laureate Portugal managing Universidade Europeia, IADE and IPAM with the main objective of turning Laureate into the best private education proposal in Portugal. Most recently, in 2021, she started a new role as Regional Advisor with Cintana Education.
Estíbaliz is from Bilbao, in the northern part of Spain and holds a degree in Business Management and an MBA from the University of Deusto.
