Universidad Norbert Wiener joins the Cintana Alliance to offer a unique educational model in Peru
Over the past 26 years, Universidad Norbert Wiener (UNW) has cultivated a reputation as a higher education leader in Peru. In 2000, UNW became the first institution in the country and in Latin America to obtain ISO 9001 certification, which was followed by the accreditations of all its health and law majors through the institutional licensing by SUNEDU, its entry into the MERCO Talent (top 15), América Economía (top 15), and research rankings such as SCOPUS (top 21). In joining the ASU-Cintana Alliance, UNW will build on recent achievements, including the launch of the Biocentro Research Center in the Amazon and taking first place in the registration of invention patents in Peru – to provide new opportunities for students to access the education and skills needed to be competitive in a global environment.
At Universidad Norbert Wiener, we focus on promoting quality education enhanced by the knowledge of national and international experts. Expanding our community ensures we can create an environment where our students have access to the necessary tools to work in a competitive and increasingly international context. By joining the ASU-Cintana Alliance, we can improve the pedagogy provided to our students, while working hand in hand with leading experts in innovation, such as Arizona State University.
