Alan is a senior advisor to Cintana Education focused on business development opportunities in Europe, Asia and the Middle East.
Prior to advising Cintana, Alan was the former head of business development for Europe, Asia, Middle East and Africa for Laureate Education. Alan was with Laureate since its inception in 1999 and saw it evolve into a network of 200 campuses in 28 countries educating in excess of one million students. He was involved in many of the landmark transactions that led to Laureate’s growth and, in the later part of his tenure with Laureate, focused most of his attention on MENA and sub-Saharan Africa as the ‘final frontiers’ of Laureate’s global footprint.
Alan sits on a number of higher education boards. He is a graduate of Cambridge University and has lived in Madrid, Baltimore, Geneva, Dubai, Miami and Hong Kong.
