Miguel Angel’s background specializes in the development of operational strategies for educational institutions, with a focus on evolving best practices in education, while improving coordination in decision-making, aligning academia with operations, and the design of marketing campaigns to increase new enrollment by combining digital marketing practices with admissions strategies.
Prior to joining Cintana, Miguel Angel was the COO for Laureate Education in Panama, Brazil and Ecuador. During his tenure at Laureate he led the business planning process, created turnaround strategies, and managed the product definition and services re-design strategies.
Previously Miguel Angel worked with Latam Airlines in Chile, where he managed and directed the services departments, improving the quality of pre-flight operations and providing outstanding service to the wide base of clients.
Miguel Angel holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering and an MBA.
